Need some rest, relaxation, rejuvenation?
Fully financial ANMF (Vic Branch) members can book significantly discounted holiday accommodation on the Bellarine Peninsula, in Bright and in the Melbourne CBD.
The Ocean Grove Chalet is 500 metres from the beach and a five-minute walk from the shopping and restaurant strip. The rooms and units accommodate couples and families.
Our Viewhill Holiday Units are set in an acre of stunning gardens in the heart of Bright and surrounding alpine region. All of these one- and two-bedroom units have on-site parking and ample storage for bicycles.
The award-winning ANMF House is located just metres from Queen Victoria Market on the fringe of the Melbourne CBD. It is available for regional and metropolitan members to book a city escape to enjoy sporting events, festivals, galleries, museums, concerts or the theatre, or to just explore and relax. It is also adjacent to the ANMF (Vic Branch) building, ANMF Education Centre and Carson Conference Centres, making it ideal for members attending one of our conferences, Job Rep and HSR training or education courses.
All properties are for the exclusive use of ANMF members staying with their family and friends.
The ANMF member benefit accommodation rate is up to 50% off the market rate.
Accommodation can only be booked in a four-night block (check-in Monday and check-out Friday) or a three-night block (check-in Friday and check-out Monday).
Regional members travelling to Melbourne for professional development (ANMF conferences, Job Rep training, HSR training or education courses) can book a limited number of rooms at ANMF House for one-night (up to 20% of the market rate) or two-nights (up to 30% off the market rate).
ANMF will monitor demand and bookings and peak periods may be subject to a ballot. The rules may change after an evaluation period to ensure fair access for all members. We ask members to be patient while we fine-tune these processes.
In a survey conducted in 2020, members overwhelmingly supported ANMF investing in a holiday accommodation member benefit. Discounted quality accommodation is a popular member benefit offered by the Western Australian and South Australian branches of the ANMF and other unions such as the Police Association Victoria.
