2026 ANMF VB Yarning Circle Feb

ANMF (Vic Branch) Yarning Circle

20 February 2026

ANMF (Vic Branch) Yarning Circle

2pm – 5pm, Friday 20 February 2026

The first ANMF (Vic Branch) Yarning Circle with First Nations members will be held in the Corroboree room at the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO, 17-23 Sackville Street Collingwood), facilitated by Aunty Kerry Arabena.

The event is a welcomed initiative of ANMF First Nations members and marks the beginning of an ongoing, member-led consultation process. ANMF (Vic Branch) is seeking to listen to nurses, midwives, students, and personal care worker members about your experiences, priorities, and aspirations for our union.

The consultation process aims to ensure First Nations voices meaningfully inform how the ANMF engages with, represents, and advocates for our First Nations members and colleagues.

The Yarning Circle will provide a space for open dialogue, where members can share their perspectives, identify priorities, and contribute to shaping future Victorian Branch approaches, structures, and supports affecting First Nations members.
