Registration for the 2022 conference has now closed.

The ANMF (Vic Branch) invites all Job Representatives and Health & Safety Representatives to the 2022 Annual Delegates Conference.

This two day conference will present an inspiring and informative program exploring industrial, professional, workplace safety and social justice issues for nurses, midwives and carers. Delegates have the opportunity to submit and vote on resolutions and help shape the direction of their union for the next 12 months. It also provides a contribution toward your CPD hours.

This event provides delegates with a fantastic opportunity to meet their peers, find out more about how their union works and the issues that are common across the board, and to feel confident about approaching their union for assistance with workplace, OHS and professional issues.

The 2022 conference is currently scheduled to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, though please note: arrangements may be required to change at short notice due to Government advice. As previously communicated, the Thursday night formal conference dinner will no longer be taking place.

Registration is now open to all current ANMF Job Representatives and Health and Safety Representatives. Not sure you are officially a representative at your current workplace? Please contact the ANMF here.

Motions are now closed

The Annual Delegates Conference is an opportunity to propose changes on behalf of your workplace in areas such as industrial, occupational health and safety, professional and social justice. Submitting a motion for discussion and democratic voting at the conference could lead towards a contribution to the Log of Claims (LOC) for your next enterprise agreement.

All delegates attending the conference must meet with their colleagues at members’ meetings or at a minimum with other delegates at their workplace - via a Reps/HSR’s meeting - to propose motions for the 2022 Conference. Once the meetings have occurred, please access the motions link on your conference website to submit motions ahead of the conference, on behalf of your colleagues. If you would like support from your Organiser to assist with this process please make contact with them via records@anmfvic.asn.au. Unless motions are proposed by a group of Reps/HSR’s from a particular workplace they will not be included in the conference motions for debate.
