Celebrate International Midwives Day with the ANMF!

ANMF would like to make some time with you to celebrate International Midwives Day.

Join us to hear from presenters in the midwifery space, who will discuss issues and innovations in midwifery practice.

Hear from:

  • Adjunct Professor Tanya Farrell – Acting Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer and Chair of the Consultative Council on Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity;
  • Fiona Faulks, Lecturer – Nursing & Midwifery, La Trobe University – Rural Department of Nursing & Midwifery;
  • Madeleine Harradence, Assistant Secretary, ANMF (Vic Branch);
  • Nicole Allan, Maternity Services Officer, ANMF (Vic Branch); and
  • Some of our newest entrants into the maternity workforce space - Registered Undergraduate Students of Midwifery (RUSOMs).

ANMF will be providing an update to attendees on maternity service issues affecting our membership and time for questions and a chat.

This IMD event will have a formal agenda of one hour, from 2 – 3pm, with a further optional 30 mins to continue our chat and celebration of this important date.
