Promoting your health and wellbeing through COVID-19

The ANMF (Vic Branch) and Nursing and Midwifery Healthcare Program Victoria (NMHPV) have partnered to create an online event to provide health and wellbeing tips and resources to support you and your colleagues through challenging times.


Webinar 1: Nurse Unit Managers/ Midwifery Unit Managers & Educators - Wednesday 25 November

Webinar 2: Nurses, midwives* and carers - Friday 27 November (*if you are a midwife and are unable to attend the Friday session due to the ACM conference, please note there is an opportunity for you to attend the Wednesday session as an alternative date)


Facilitated by skilled and knowledgeable nurses and clinicians you will learn the key elements of self-care and the support available.

Sessions will cover:

• understanding stress, your stress response and how to take your stress temperature and implement stress reduction strategies

• opportunities to debrief how you are feeling and the issues that may have impacted your health and wellbeing during the pandemic.

• acknowledging you, your challenges and celebrate your achievements

• provide you with practical tips to support you and/or your colleagues.

The Nursing and Midwifery Health Program Victoria (NMHPV) is an independent support service for nurses, midwives and students of nursing and midwifery experiencing health issues related to their mental health, substance use concerns or any issue you need support for. NMHPV provide sensitive and compassionate screening, assessment, referrals, individual support sessions and groups for those seeking help to manage health concerns.
