Online Occupational Health and Safety Conference

13 November 2020

Occupational Health & Safety issues have the potential to impact employees, patients and employers.

The overlap of the healthcare environment as a workplace can place potentially conflicting priorities and work demands on nurses, midwives and carers. Prioritising patient safety over staff safety (or vice versa) should not need to occur if appropriate systems are in place to ensure the safety of everyone.

The Occupational Health & Safety Conference is a half day online event presented by the ANMF (Vic Branch) on Friday 13 November 2020. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions in Victoria this event will be hosted via zoom.

The conference is aimed at all levels of nursing, midwifery and carers.

The ANMF Occupational Health & Safety Conference attracts up to 3.5 hours of CPD required by the NMBA for registration renewal.
