The ANMF (Vic Branch) is announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Australian Nurses and Midwives Conference scheduled for September 2020.

As you can imagine, the ANMF (Vic Branch) is doing its utmost to curb transmission of coronavirus and protect our members, staff and the broader Victorian public from illness and the impact on our health system. To this end, we have cancelled all major events and continue to review future events on a case-by-case basis. We are also compliant with the current federal and state governments ban on non-essential mass gatherings.

We are disappointed to have to cancel this event and look forward to seeing you all at next year’s Australian Nurses and Midwives Conference. Thank you for your understanding in these challenging times.

The Australian Nurses and Midwives Conference is Australia's most comprehensive nursing and midwifery conference.

Each year the intensive conference program brings together a range of international, interstate and Victorian speakers exploring professional and clinical issues and innovations in areas such as nursing, midwifery, mental health, aged care and more.

Nursing and midwifery clinicians, researchers, academics and leaders present on a range of contemporary professional issues and clinical practice innovations.

Concurrent streams across each day of the conference allow attendees to design their own conference program and select from speciality streams relevant to their professional practice and areas of interest.

The breadth of speakers and topics makes the Australian Nurses and Midwives Conference one of the leading nursing and midwifery events in Australia.
