The material included in the app is intended for use by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (Victorian Branch) as a member benefit.

The main purpose of this app is to provide members with a diary to plan their shifts, a dosage calculator that can be used as an educational tool to support your clinical practice, and access to ANMF (Vic Branch) news and events.

The dosage calculator is available publically on the iTunes App Store. The material within the dosage calculator, including the formulas used, is intended for educational purposes only. Any person using this app should use professional judgment when calculating doses. It is not intended for the clinical setting and should never be used to treat any patient. It should also never be used in the place of health care services existing policies and procedures. No warranties for the dosage calculations are or can be given.

The formulas in the dosage calculator have been used with the permission of Cengage Learning Australia Pty Ltd, specifically from the title: Clinical Dosage Calculations for Australia and New Zealand 2e, V Brotto and K Rafferty ©2016 Cengage Learning Australia. Cengage and ANMF (Vic Branch) do not make any representations or guarantees regarding the formulas and do not perform any independent analysis in connection with any of the information contained. From time to time the ANMF (Vic Branch) will notify its members using the app of important events with the use of push notifications. Members can opt in or out of this service when they download the app to their device.
