Proactively preventing Occupational Violence and Aggression in health workplaces is a priority for ANMF (Vic Branch).

In order to have the most accurate picture of the frequency and severity of risk that nurses and midwives face, it's important that any incidents are reported to us using the OVA form linked below. Member details are kept confidential.

This form is intended to be used by members to provide ANMF (Vic Branch) with further information about incidents of Occupational Violence and Aggression experienced by nurses and midwives within Victoria. It is not designed to replace the required workplace reporting, such as VHIMS/Riskmans systems and related direct reporting to supervisors.

Occupational violence and aggression is defined as any incident where an employee is abused, threatened or assaulted in circumstances arising out of, or in the course of, their employment.
