OHS conference for all levels of nursing and midwifery

Occupational Health and Safety Conference

15 November 2019

Occupational Health & Safety issues have the potential to impact employees, patients and employers.

The overlap of the healthcare environment as a workplace can place potentially conflicting priorities and work demands on nurses, midwives and carers. Prioritising patient safety over staff safety (or vice versa) should not need to occur if appropriate systems are in place to ensure the safety of everyone.

The Occupational Health & Safety Conference is a full-day event presented by the ANMF (Vic Branch) on Friday 15 November 2019.

The conference is aimed at all levels of nursing, midwifery and carers; it will feature expert speakers who will discuss:

    Gendered violence

    Occupational violence and aggression

    Industrial manslaughter

Health and safety representatives, their powers and many more

The ANMF Occupational Health & Safety attracts up to six hours of CPD required by the NMBA for registration renewal.

CPD: 6 hours
