The two day Australian Nurses and Midwives Conference returns for 2019, bringing together nursing and midwifery professionals from across Australia.

This intensive program runs across two days and features a range of international, interstate and Victorian speakers exploring professional and clinical issues and innovations in nursing, midwifery, mental health and aged care. Nursing and midwifery clinicians, researchers, academics and leaders will present on a range of contemporary professional issues and clinical practice innovations.

Keynote speakers have now been announced for each day:

- Samuel Johnson, actor, presenter and founder of Love Your Sister will share his own experience of moving forward with care and compassion, and his lived experience of supporting a loved one as they navigate the health system

- Sydney Siege survivor Louisa Hope will present her own tale of resilience and hope, and the work she has undertaken to support nurses through her foundation
