    EBA Claim
ANMF 2020 Victorian public sector nurses and midwives EBA claim (download pdf 2.2MB)

Please note this claim is different to the traditional log of claims ANMF has presented for the past seven EBAs going back to 1997.

The 2016 agreement included the wages outcome for 2020 -2024. Nurse/midwife to patient ratios are legislated and contained in the Safe Patient Care Act 2015. The implementation of legislated improvements and new ratios is underway. Drafting of a second ratio amendment bill for further improvements in the Andrews Government’s second term has begun. The claim is the current agreement with an overlay of clarifications to clear up intent of clauses and reduce disputes, and amendments to improve conditions and entitlements. This claim was finalised at the 2019 Annual Delegates Conference and endorsed by the ANMF Branch Council. Comments by ANMF within the document reflect either the intent of the proposed amendment or the source (typically a Delegates Conference resolution).
